Following a prolific career as an advertising Creative Director, Michael aligned his design expertise with his passion for natural environments by studying Landscape Architecture at UCLA. Today, his mission is to connect people back to Nature through the living canvas. 

Guided by his mantra, “Think Outside, Live Outside,” Michael approaches environmental design as a dynamic art form. He creates timeless, sustainable landscapes that seamlessly connect architecture, nature, and lifestyle, ultimately elevating the experience of being home. 

This vision drives his current landmark project: a health-and-wellness-centered residential community on the California Central Coast. 

Dedicated to inspiring the next generation of designers, Michael teaches landscape design at Emory University, soon launching the Think Outside Landscape Design Academy for professionals and enthusiasts, and is authoring his first book on finding fulfillment through creating with Nature.
