Dan began his career as an operator and business owner in the gas-powered landscape maintenance industry. Seeking a safer, more responsible transition to lower-impact lawn and garden operations, he has devoted more than two decades to developing and implementing clean battery technology and electric maintenance standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the industry. 

To advance the adoption of quieter, battery-powered solutions, Dan created multiple industry certifications focused on battery-electric and low-impact operations. These certifications encompass workforce education, certificate training, industry impact reporting, and cost-benefit analysis. 

AGZA works with cities and towns, academic institutions, landscape maintenance companies, contractors, air quality management agencies, and manufacturers to provide sustainable grounds-maintenance education and consulting.
