ReScape

ReScape is a nonprofit championing a regenerative, whole-systems approach to landscaping that works in harmony with natural ecosystems. Built on a watershed-based framework, ReScape emphasises that every landscaping decision influences the wider environment - from local geography to regional impact.

Founded in 2009 as the Bay-Friendly Landscaping & Gardening Coalition, the organisation evolved into ReScape California in 2015 and expanded further following its merger with EcoLandscape California in 2017.

ReScape actively advocates for state and regional policies that support climate-positive landscape practices. The organisation works closely with public agencies, municipalities, government bodies, and community partners who rely on ReScape-trained professionals and its 8-Principles framework to deliver policy-driven, science-based landscape standards.
