In 2005, Leadsun had a vision to revolutionize public lighting. We established a dedicated R&D facility in Melbourne, Australia, and after extensive research, development and testing launched the world’s first All-In-One solar streetlight in 2008, combining the benefits of solar photovoltaic (PV) power, super-efficient LED light, lithium battery technology, and advanced adaptive lighting controls.

With innovation in mind and sustainability at heart, we have registered over forty patents and deployed more than 400,000 solar streetlights, solar parking lot lights, path lights, and solar area light systems around the world.

USA Expansion

In 2016, after successfully proving our products in Australia’s harsh and unforgiving climate, we expanded our operations into the USA. Since then, we have deployed nearly 10,000 solar led streetlights across the country, established our operations center in Tampa Bay, Florida and opened our new headquarters in Ontario, California in 2023.
